Shipping policy
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed with SpaCrete for freestanding bathtubs and related products. It outlines order processing, shipping regions, freight coordination, delivery expectations, and purchaser responsibilities. For additional planning guidance regarding access, receiving, packaging, and installation preparation, please see our Shipping, Delivery & Receiving page.
1. Order Processing and Lead Times
SpaCrete products may be in stock or made to order. Estimated lead times are provided for general guidance only and are not guaranteed. Most freestanding bathtub orders ship in approximately 6–8 weeks from the date of order placement, but actual lead times may vary based on production volume, finish selection, order details, destination, carrier scheduling, and other factors.
If your project is working to a fixed schedule or requires special timing considerations, please contact SpaCrete before placing your order.
2. Shipping Regions
SpaCrete currently ships throughout Canada and the continental United States.
Online checkout shipping coverage may not extend to certain remote or non-standard destinations, including but not limited to Yukon, Iqaluit, the Northwest Territories, Alaska, islands, ferry-serviced locations, or other areas requiring special routing. Orders to such destinations may require direct freight review, revised pricing, and manual coordination before shipment.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are not included in the product price unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Standard shipping charges may be calculated at checkout for eligible destinations. Remote, restricted-access, special-handling, or non-standard delivery locations may require additional freight charges, surcharges, or direct quotation.
Any cross-border duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, or other destination-specific charges are the responsibility of the purchaser unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
4. Freight Method and Delivery Coordination
SpaCrete may ship orders using third-party freight carriers and delivery partners selected by SpaCrete and/or its logistics providers.
Delivery method, carrier, route, and scheduling are determined based on the order, destination, and freight requirements, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate shipping information, maintaining reasonable delivery access, and responding in a timely manner to any shipping or scheduling requests.
5. Site Readiness and Access Responsibilities
The purchaser is responsible for confirming, before shipment and before delivery, that the delivery location and installation site are suitable for receipt and installation of the product.
This includes, without limitation:
-
confirming the access route into the property and bathroom
-
reviewing doorways, hallways, turns, stairs, elevators, and finished surfaces
-
confirming the installation area is structurally suitable, flat, and level
-
confirming plumbing, waste location, drain alignment, and installation conditions in advance
-
arranging any labor, equipment, or site protection required for moving or installing the product
SpaCrete is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, added freight charges, or site issues arising from inaccurate delivery information, restricted access, inadequate site readiness, or purchaser failure to plan appropriately.
6. Packaging
Each SpaCrete bathtub is inspected before shipment and packaged for freight protection. Packaging may include protective wrapping, padding, and a wood-framed crate or similar freight packaging.
Packaging is intended to protect the product during transit and should be retained until the product has been fully inspected.
7. Delivery Inspection and Damage Claims
The purchaser must inspect the shipment promptly upon delivery and before installation.
If visible shipping damage is present, the purchaser must:
-
note the damage with the carrier at the time of delivery
-
photograph the product, crate, and packaging
-
retain all packaging materials
-
notify both the carrier and SpaCrete immediately
If concealed damage is discovered after unpacking, the purchaser must document the condition immediately, retain all packaging, and notify SpaCrete promptly.
A damaged product must not be installed. Installation of a damaged product may affect claim eligibility.
If a manufacturing defect is suspected, SpaCrete must be notified before installation, and the matter will be addressed in accordance with the applicable warranty terms.
8. Delays Outside SpaCrete’s Control
SpaCrete is not responsible for shipping or delivery delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier delays, weather, route disruptions, border or customs processing, labor disruptions, force majeure events, or delivery constraints at the destination.
Estimated shipping and delivery dates are approximate only.
9. Additional Charges
The purchaser is responsible for any additional charges arising from circumstances outside SpaCrete’s original shipping arrangement, including but not limited to:
-
remote-area surcharges
-
address corrections
-
missed delivery appointments
-
storage fees
-
re-delivery charges
-
special equipment requirements
-
limited-access handling charges
-
purchaser-requested routing or scheduling changes after booking
10. Policy Updates
SpaCrete reserves the right to update or revise this Shipping Policy at any time by posting the updated version on this page. The version posted at the time of purchase will apply unless otherwise required by law.
